# Go Sailing vs InterNations

The clearest difference is rating: InterNations at 4.6 against Go Sailing's 3.0. InterNations also leads on ratings volume (5.2K vs 46). Go Sailing's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 35%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Go Sailing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and InterNations sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InterNations holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InterNations has 5.2K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Go Sailing's written reviews are positive against 35% of InterNations's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Go Sailing ships an update every 5 weeks, InterNations every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
