# ShiftWork vs myShiftWork

The clearest difference is ads: myShiftWork at none against ShiftWork's shown. myShiftWork also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 48%). ShiftWork's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShiftWork sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and myShiftWork sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShiftWork holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 56 and 141 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of ShiftWork's written reviews are positive against 71% of myShiftWork's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
