# MTB Project vs Camparator

The clearest difference is update cadence: MTB Project at every 5 weeks against Camparator's every 7 months. MTB Project also leads on ratings volume (4.5K vs 4) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Camparator's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MTB Project holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTB Project has 4.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of MTB Project's written reviews are positive against 50% of Camparator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MTB Project ships an update every 5 weeks, Camparator every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
