# MTB Project vs ALLEN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ALLEN at 100% against MTB Project's 32%. ALLEN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). MTB Project's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALLEN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTB Project has 4.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 32% of MTB Project's written reviews are positive against 100% of ALLEN's.

MTB Project ships an update every 5 weeks, ALLEN every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
