# Al vs Actu17

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Al at 100% against Actu17's 57%. Al also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Actu17's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.0) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, ratings volume and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Actu17 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Al asks for nothing beyond the download.

Actu17 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Al's written reviews are positive against 57% of Actu17's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Al ships an update every 4 months, Actu17 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
