# Pennant vs Baseball Live

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Baseball Live at 100% against Pennant's 58%. Baseball Live also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Pennant's advantage is ratings volume (397 vs 64) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pennant sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Baseball Live sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Baseball Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pennant has 397 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Pennant's written reviews are positive against 100% of Baseball Live's.

Pennant ships an update monthly, Baseball Live fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
