# A2Z Groups vs Duplicate Contacts Manager

The clearest difference is monetization model: Duplicate Contacts Manager at free with in-app purchases against A2Z Groups's subscription. A2Z Groups's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A2Z Groups sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year and Duplicate Contacts Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A2Z Groups holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: A2Z Groups has 3.9K ratings behind it against 763, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of A2Z Groups's written reviews are positive against 67% of Duplicate Contacts Manager's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
