# UNCG Mobile vs HPU+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: HPU+ at 75% against UNCG Mobile's 20%. HPU+ also leads on rating (4.9 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). UNCG Mobile's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HPU+ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HPU+ has 217 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of UNCG Mobile's written reviews are positive against 75% of HPU+'s.

UNCG Mobile ships an update every 7 months, HPU+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
