# 荔枝新闻 vs 触电新闻

荔枝新闻 and 触电新闻 both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 96% of 荔枝新闻's written reviews are positive against 50% of 触电新闻's. 荔枝新闻 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 触电新闻 sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. 荔枝新闻 asks for nothing beyond the download.

触电新闻 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of 荔枝新闻's written reviews are positive against 50% of 触电新闻's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

荔枝新闻 ships an update monthly, 触电新闻 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
