# 荔枝新闻 vs 收音机

The clearest difference is rating: 收音机 at 4.7 against 荔枝新闻's 4.2. 收音机 also leads on ratings volume (277 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). 荔枝新闻's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 收音机 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 荔枝新闻 asks for nothing beyond the download.

收音机 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 收音机 has 277 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of 荔枝新闻's written reviews are positive against 79% of 收音机's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

荔枝新闻 ships an update every 5 weeks, 收音机 every 9 months. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
