# Talking Ginger 2 vs Transformers Rescue Bots

The clearest difference is ads: Transformers Rescue Bots at none against Talking Ginger 2's shown. Transformers Rescue Bots also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Talking Ginger 2's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 46%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talking Ginger 2 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Transformers Rescue Bots sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Transformers Rescue Bots holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 83K and 48K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Talking Ginger 2's written reviews are positive against 46% of Transformers Rescue Bots's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
