# Talking Ginger 2 vs Talking Jerry Bros

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Talking Ginger 2 at 83K against Talking Jerry Bros's 870. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Talking Ginger 2 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Talking Jerry Bros sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talking Ginger 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talking Ginger 2 has 83K ratings behind it against 870, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Talking Ginger 2's written reviews are positive against 68% of Talking Jerry Bros's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talking Ginger 2 ships an update every 2 months, Talking Jerry Bros every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
