# Lexia Core5 Reading vs CAPIT Reading

The clearest difference is rating: CAPIT Reading at 4.4 against Lexia Core5 Reading's 3.5. CAPIT Reading also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Lexia Core5 Reading's advantage is review sentiment (41% vs 0%) and ratings volume (14K vs 8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CAPIT Reading holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lexia Core5 Reading has 14K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Lexia Core5 Reading's written reviews are positive against 0% of CAPIT Reading's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
