# BulletinPlus vs SALT

BulletinPlus and SALT both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of BulletinPlus's written reviews are positive against 60% of SALT's. BulletinPlus also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). SALT's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SALT sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per 7 days. BulletinPlus asks for nothing beyond the download.

SALT holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SALT has 2.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of BulletinPlus's written reviews are positive against 60% of SALT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BulletinPlus ships an update every 6 weeks, SALT fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
