# Argus vs Active By Choice

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Active By Choice at none against Argus's 10. Active By Choice also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). Argus's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 1). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Argus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Active By Choice asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Argus against 5.0 for Active By Choice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Argus has 36K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
