# Scrollon vs Twist

The clearest difference is rating: Scrollon at 5.0 against Twist's 4.4. Scrollon also leads on ads (none vs shown). Twist's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 7 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollon sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Twist sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twist has 45 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Scrollon's written reviews are positive against 100% of Twist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scrollon ships an update every 7 months, Twist every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
