# Scrollon vs ACK Comics

The clearest difference is rating: Scrollon at 5.0 against ACK Comics's 4.1. Scrollon also leads on review sentiment (71% vs 50%). ACK Comics's advantage is ratings volume (205 vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollon sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and ACK Comics sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ACK Comics has 205 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Scrollon's written reviews are positive against 50% of ACK Comics's.

Scrollon ships an update every 7 months, ACK Comics every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
