# Léon bande dessinée vs Phallaina

The clearest difference is monetization model: Léon bande dessinée at free against Phallaina's free with in-app purchases. Léon bande dessinée also leads on update cadence (every 12 months vs every 37 months) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Léon bande dessinée sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Phallaina sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Léon bande dessinée ships an update every 12 months, Phallaina every 37 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
