# Stria vs VC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stria at 91% against VC's 70%. Stria also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 15 months). VC's advantage is price ($5.99 vs $9.99) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Stria costs $9.99 and VC $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stria holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stria has 35 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of Stria's written reviews are positive against 70% of VC's.

Stria ships an update every 6 months, VC every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
