# Divert Calls vs SMS Forwarder

The clearest difference is rating: SMS Forwarder at 4.4 against Divert Calls's 3.8. SMS Forwarder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). Divert Calls's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Divert Calls sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SMS Forwarder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMS Forwarder holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 85 and 36 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Divert Calls's written reviews are positive against 30% of SMS Forwarder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Divert Calls ships an update every 4 months, SMS Forwarder every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
