# Jigsaw vs Bonza Jigsaw

The clearest difference is ads: Jigsaw at none against Bonza Jigsaw's shown. Jigsaw also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). Bonza Jigsaw's advantage is ratings volume (8.3K vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jigsaw sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bonza Jigsaw sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jigsaw holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bonza Jigsaw has 8.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Jigsaw's written reviews are positive against 76% of Bonza Jigsaw's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jigsaw ships an update every 6 weeks, Bonza Jigsaw every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
