# PDF it All Document Converter vs Unlock PDF

PDF it All Document Converter and Unlock PDF both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of PDF it All Document Converter's written reviews are positive against 44% of Unlock PDF's. PDF it All Document Converter also leads on ratings volume (8.2K vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF it All Document Converter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Unlock PDF sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Unlock PDF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF it All Document Converter has 8.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of PDF it All Document Converter's written reviews are positive against 44% of Unlock PDF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDF it All Document Converter ships an update fortnightly, Unlock PDF every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
