# PDF it All Document Converter vs PDF Unlock

The clearest difference is monetization model: PDF it All Document Converter at free with in-app purchases against PDF Unlock's subscription. PDF it All Document Converter also leads on ratings volume (8.2K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). PDF Unlock's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF it All Document Converter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PDF Unlock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF it All Document Converter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF it All Document Converter has 8.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of PDF it All Document Converter's written reviews are positive against 90% of PDF Unlock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDF it All Document Converter ships an update fortnightly, PDF Unlock every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
