# Sorcery! vs Vampire

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sorcery! at free against Vampire's paid. Sorcery! also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 42%) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). Vampire's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Sorcery! costs $4.99 and Vampire $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vampire holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 188 and 68 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Sorcery!'s written reviews are positive against 42% of Vampire's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sorcery! ships an update every 6 weeks, Vampire weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
