# Scenic Map vs Digly

The clearest difference is rating: Scenic Map at 4.7 against Digly's 4.2. Scenic Map also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). Digly's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (83% vs 67%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scenic Map sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Digly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scenic Map holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Scenic Map's written reviews are positive against 83% of Digly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scenic Map ships an update every 3 months, Digly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
