# Chores & Allowance Bot vs RoutineFactory

The clearest difference is rating: Chores & Allowance Bot at 4.5 against RoutineFactory's 4.0. Chores & Allowance Bot also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 4) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). RoutineFactory's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chores & Allowance Bot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and RoutineFactory sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chores & Allowance Bot holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chores & Allowance Bot has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Chores & Allowance Bot's written reviews are positive against 100% of RoutineFactory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chores & Allowance Bot ships an update monthly, RoutineFactory every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
