# ClassBook vs Lexu.

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lexu. at weekly against ClassBook's every 2 months. Lexu. also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). ClassBook's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClassBook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Lexu. sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lexu. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClassBook has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of ClassBook's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lexu.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ClassBook ships an update every 2 months, Lexu. weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
