# Scat Tools vs Two Blocks!

The clearest difference is rating: Two Blocks! at 4.7 against Scat Tools's 3.1. Two Blocks! also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (4.2K vs 7). Scat Tools's advantage is review sentiment (68% vs 29%) and in-app purchases (none vs 17). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Two Blocks! sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Scat Tools asks for nothing beyond the download.

Two Blocks! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Two Blocks! has 4.2K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Scat Tools's written reviews are positive against 29% of Two Blocks!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scat Tools ships an update every 8 months, Two Blocks! weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
