# Taxifix vs Ruter

The clearest difference is rating: Ruter at 4.8 against Taxifix's 2.9. Ruter also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 14) and review sentiment (51% vs 30%). Taxifix's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ruter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ruter has 3.8K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of Taxifix's written reviews are positive against 51% of Ruter's.

Taxifix ships an update every 3 days, Ruter weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
