# Trend Micro Mobile Security vs Final VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Final VPN at 87% against Trend Micro Mobile Security's 68%. Final VPN also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Trend Micro Mobile Security's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (29K vs 3.5K). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trend Micro Mobile Security sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Final VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trend Micro Mobile Security holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trend Micro Mobile Security has 29K ratings behind it against 3.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Trend Micro Mobile Security's written reviews are positive against 87% of Final VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trend Micro Mobile Security ships an update every 3 weeks, Final VPN weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
