# PetDesk vs Patchiverse

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PetDesk at none against Patchiverse's 9. PetDesk also leads on ratings volume (508K vs 1) and chart position (#102 vs unranked). Patchiverse's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Patchiverse sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. PetDesk asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PetDesk against 5.0 for Patchiverse. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PetDesk has 508K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PetDesk ships an update every 4 weeks, Patchiverse weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
