# RoscoRae® vs Palabras

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RoscoRae® at 93% against Palabras's 0%. RoscoRae® also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Palabras's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoscoRae® sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Palabras sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Palabras holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of RoscoRae®'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Palabras's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoscoRae® ships an update every 5 weeks, Palabras every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
