# TrackAddict vs SmartRace Connect

The clearest difference is rating: SmartRace Connect at 5.0 against TrackAddict's 4.5. SmartRace Connect also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and review sentiment (92% vs 82%). TrackAddict's advantage is ratings volume (515 vs 9). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrackAddict sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SmartRace Connect sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartRace Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrackAddict has 515 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of TrackAddict's written reviews are positive against 92% of SmartRace Connect's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
