# TrackAddict vs Mini4 Lap Timer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mini4 Lap Timer at none against TrackAddict's 1. Mini4 Lap Timer also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). TrackAddict's advantage is ratings volume (512 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrackAddict sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Mini4 Lap Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mini4 Lap Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TrackAddict has 512 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of TrackAddict's written reviews are positive against 79% of Mini4 Lap Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
