# TrackAddict vs LapSnap

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TrackAddict at 82% against LapSnap's 30%. TrackAddict also leads on ads (none vs shown). LapSnap's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrackAddict sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LapSnap sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LapSnap holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 512 and 241 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of TrackAddict's written reviews are positive against 30% of LapSnap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TrackAddict ships an update every 2 months, LapSnap fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
