# TrackAddict vs MYLAPS Speedhive

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MYLAPS Speedhive at none against TrackAddict's 1. MYLAPS Speedhive also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). TrackAddict's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 51%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrackAddict sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MYLAPS Speedhive asks for nothing beyond the download.

MYLAPS Speedhive holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 515 and 1.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of TrackAddict's written reviews are positive against 51% of MYLAPS Speedhive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
