# VOA vs Tibet.Net

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VOA at 732 against Tibet.Net's 11. Tibet.Net's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for VOA against 4.3 for Tibet.Net. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VOA has 732 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of VOA's written reviews are positive against 71% of Tibet.Net's.

VOA ships an update every 2 months, Tibet.Net every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
