# E vs Calculus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: E at none against Calculus's 1. E also leads on iOS requirement (7.1 vs 17.6). Calculus's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. E asks for nothing beyond the download.

E ships an update every 6 months, Calculus weekly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
