# SMTOWN | OFFICIAL vs 口袋48

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SMTOWN | OFFICIAL at none against 口袋48's 10. SMTOWN | OFFICIAL also leads on rating (3.6 vs 3.2). 口袋48's advantage is review sentiment (48% vs 31%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 口袋48 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. SMTOWN | OFFICIAL asks for nothing beyond the download.

SMTOWN | OFFICIAL holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 口袋48 has 433 ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of SMTOWN | OFFICIAL's written reviews are positive against 48% of 口袋48's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SMTOWN | OFFICIAL ships an update monthly, 口袋48 fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
