# Perfect Video Editor, Collage vs Frames

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Perfect Video Editor, Collage at 70% against Frames's 29%. Perfect Video Editor, Collage also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (6.9K vs 624). Frames's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfect Video Editor, Collage sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Frames sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Frames holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfect Video Editor, Collage has 6.9K ratings behind it against 624, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Perfect Video Editor, Collage's written reviews are positive against 29% of Frames's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Perfect Video Editor, Collage ships an update every 2 months, Frames every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
