# ACK Comics vs Luna Storytime

The clearest difference is rating: Luna Storytime at 5.0 against ACK Comics's 4.1. ACK Comics's advantage is ratings volume (206 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ACK Comics sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per 3 months and Luna Storytime sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Luna Storytime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ACK Comics has 206 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ACK Comics ships an update every 3 months, Luna Storytime every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
