# Skiing Fred vs G

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: G at none against Skiing Fred's 6. G also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 88%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). Skiing Fred's advantage is ratings volume (701 vs 14) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skiing Fred sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. G asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Skiing Fred against 4.8 for G. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skiing Fred has 701 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two.
