# IIDControl vs Land Rover Remote

The clearest difference is rating: Land Rover Remote at 4.7 against IIDControl's 3.9. Land Rover Remote also leads on ratings volume (47K vs 14) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). IIDControl's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and review sentiment (67% vs 30%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Land Rover Remote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Land Rover Remote has 47K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of IIDControl's written reviews are positive against 30% of Land Rover Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IIDControl ships an update every 2 months, Land Rover Remote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
