# Calculator SpreadSheet vs AddNotes

The clearest difference is rating: AddNotes at 4.8 against Calculator SpreadSheet's 4.0. AddNotes also leads on ratings volume (370 vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Calculator SpreadSheet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AddNotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Calculator SpreadSheet asks for nothing beyond the download.

AddNotes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AddNotes has 370 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Calculator SpreadSheet's written reviews are positive against 87% of AddNotes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
