# myCWT vs NorthStarVIP

The clearest difference is ratings volume: myCWT at 15K against NorthStarVIP's 11. myCWT also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). NorthStarVIP's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

myCWT holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myCWT has 15K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of myCWT's written reviews are positive against 80% of NorthStarVIP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myCWT ships an update every 3 weeks, NorthStarVIP monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
