# Train Bandit vs DiNGiES

The clearest difference is price: DiNGiES at Free against Train Bandit's $0.99. DiNGiES also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Train Bandit's advantage is ratings volume (138 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 14.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

DiNGiES is free to download; Train Bandit costs $0.99 up front. Train Bandit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DiNGiES sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DiNGiES holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Train Bandit has 138 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Train Bandit's written reviews are positive against 100% of DiNGiES's.

Train Bandit ships an update every 3 months, DiNGiES fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
