# Lightning Fighter 2 vs Squadron 1945

The clearest difference is rating: Squadron 1945 at 4.7 against Lightning Fighter 2's 4.4. Lightning Fighter 2's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 50%) and ratings volume (537 vs 75). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lightning Fighter 2 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Squadron 1945 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Squadron 1945 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lightning Fighter 2 has 537 ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Lightning Fighter 2's written reviews are positive against 50% of Squadron 1945's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
