# ZipGrade vs KnightsNow

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: KnightsNow at none against ZipGrade's 1. KnightsNow also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 86%). ZipGrade's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZipGrade sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. KnightsNow asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ZipGrade against 5.0 for KnightsNow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZipGrade has 36K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of ZipGrade's written reviews are positive against 100% of KnightsNow's.

ZipGrade ships an update every 6 weeks, KnightsNow every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
