# Volotea vs Capitole Taxi

The clearest difference is rating: Capitole Taxi at 5.0 against Volotea's 4.5. Capitole Taxi also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Volotea's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Capitole Taxi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Volotea has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Volotea's written reviews are positive against 32% of Capitole Taxi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Volotea ships an update weekly, Capitole Taxi every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
