# FM957 vs ChoirMate

The clearest difference is rating: ChoirMate at 4.8 against FM957's 4.3. ChoirMate also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (187 vs 3). FM957's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChoirMate sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. FM957 asks for nothing beyond the download.

ChoirMate holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChoirMate has 187 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of FM957's written reviews are positive against 98% of ChoirMate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FM957 ships an update every 2 months, ChoirMate weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
